Rivers State Ministry of Health in collaboration with implementing partners celebrated the World Tuberculosis Day 2016 with a rally which took off at Pepperoni by Wimpey Ada Goerge to Model Secondary School Rumuolumeni by 11am today. It is celebrated in order to create awareness of the air borne disease, stating how it can be prevented and eradicated.

The custodian of Yoruba traditional stool – Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, was absent, Saturday, as he got married to his new bride, Wuraola Otiti Zynab Obanor, in Benin, Edo State.

The wedding was attended by several top dignitaries.The traditional wedding took place at the Edo Hotel, Okada Drive, GRA Benin City, Edo State.

Meanwhile, the monarch was absent at the ceremony due to tradition.
