GROW IN GRACE

TEXT: 2nd Peter 3:18
"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen".

Beloved, to run life's race, you need grace. Grace is simply God in the race. So with God in the race, your life becomes a platform to showcase grace.

As a citizen of Gods kingdom, you are a full part taker of the Grace of God which is released and showcased on mankind as Titus 2:11 tells us.

As you grow in the grace and race, you would be faced with challenges at different points in time which will require help from God and that help is Grace. At every point in life's development, there are challenges but the level of your grace available in you and with you would make you overcome that phase. so you need to grow in grace to remain a victor at all times.

In order to grow in grace;

1. You have to ACCEPT Grace because what you accept is what can benefit you.

2. You have to be DEVOTED to the word of God. Joshua 1:8 so it is important that you get devoted to the word of God because the word of God makes it clear; the grace of God.

3. You have to APPLY and PRACTISE the word as James 1:22 tells us.

Furthermore, Grace gives you a platform. It also renders help on the platform to bring salvation. All these processes requires growth in grace to be accomplished.

As you grow in grace, you would become a great person.

Lord, I choose the part of growth in my challenges and your grace I seek.

WALK BY FAITH

TEXT: 2nd Corinthians 5:7
"For we walk by Faith and not by sight".

Wow! So much has been said already about Faith but simple take note that faith talk is simply in exhaustive and it is a domain we operate in.

Friends, the God we believe is the God we depend on hence becomes the God we have faith in. Take note that the builder and maker of all things is God and He is above all other. Some people know and acknowledge His place as God while some others don’t. Some regard and refer Him by certain names while some regard Him but don’t find a befitting name to describe Him like it was the case with the Athenians until Paul came to bail them out by in fusing knowledge to them as seen in Acts 17:23-26.

Friend, even God wants you to reach him by faith as Hebrews 11:6 says. Faith is related to Hope as without it, the object of ones happiness would remain far off because faith is like a magnet.
Irrespective where you are in life’s placement, with faith you are bound for the next phase of your shinning as actions of faith connects you to God’s realm of release of blessings.

Why watch your life continue in a way you are not
comfortable with whereas the key of your excitement and blessing is around you. Don’t die there, take a FAITH step and see how much of life you would get.

It took the woman with the issue of blood a step of faith to gain her miracle. Do you know what could be running through her mind when she got healed? I suspect thoughts of this nature. Oh! Why didn’t Jesus move around earlier when i first experienced the challenge; Oh! why didn’t a neighbor or family member tell me about this man Jesus all along.
The list goes on but does this paint a picture of someone?
Oh! Yes it does and the good thing is that you too can smile again only if you decide to take a faith step again today.

Don’t stop taking faith steps for your miracle until it works for you because it works always but your mind need align to its ability to work for you.
You please God when you walk by faith.

PRAY FOR THE CHURCH

TEXT: Matthew 16:18 And I say unto thee that thou art Peter and upon this rock I would build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

At this crucial time was Jesus looking for who amongst his disciples was connected to heaven’s frequency for the time they were and only Peter proved by his outstanding response as Jesus concurred with his words in the opening text.

Note that Jesus was passionate about the move of building a body, a group to be called the church and needed the disciples to have understanding of the concept and process of building this church. It is upon the knowledge that Christ is the son of the living God and our Passover Lamb that the church needs be built and only Peter then by his quick and exhaustive response saw Christ as the initiator of that glorious to be CHURCH which you and I are members today having come into it by the gate of SALVATION concerning which even angels desired to looked into and the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you as 1st Peter 1:10,13 establishes. Glory to God!

The church was founded as a solution and not a problem. She was established by revelation for dominion over works of darkness. She was made rich for the continual spread of the gospel of our Lord Jesus as Zachariah 1:17 tells us, therefore to maintain her ground and course, she needs to be constantly prayed for and prayed with.

Beloved, you are a member of the body of Christ and you are loved by God so ensure you play your part today by constantly praying for the CHURCH.

The church is not just the building or place of meeting for worship but a greater part of the idea is about you.

Who makes up the church system?

1.BROTHERS AND SISTERS
Hebrews 13:1 - Let Brotherly love continue. It takes love of God to pray constantly for your brother and for your sister, both the known or unknown, both those hurting you or not. You pray for the constant unity and advancement of the purpose for establishing the church which even said “…gate of hell shall not prevail against it.

2. BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN LEADERSHIP/ AUTHORITY
Colossians 4:2-3 - It is good to pray consistently for your leaders in the local church where you worship so rather than join others without knowledge to criticize and castigate them, do pray for them.

3. BROTHERS AND SISTERS LOST IN SIN
John 10:16 - Jesus called them other sheep I have...". Dear, pray for souls lost in sin and in the grip of the god of this world as 2nd Corinthians 4:4 tells us.

Remember, their emancipation is your rejoicing and Gods glory is revealed the more in the CHURCH.

PRAYER FOCUS:
Lord, I am the church you built. Help me Lord to constantly pray for the Brethren.

LET GOD’S WORD JUDGE

TEXT: Psalm 82: 8
Arise God to judge the earth for all nation belong to you.

It’s a fact that a man’s judgment is communicated by his words meaning his words spoken is his judgment passed, little wonder people take seriously a man’s words.

A peculiar and particulate thing about human being is that the same God’s judgment amidst the heavenly host which reads “Let us make man” in Gen. 1:26 is what gave man a chance to life. It is no doubt that man having license to choices and the consequences of his choices is now liable to think freely and similarly act same as this brings us to a category of persons referred to as “WICKED PEOPLE, WITH WICKED THOUGHTS”.

Sometimes in life, you run into business discussion or other forms of correction with people of this nature and they pour on you a bit of their contents which is wickedness, and you are tempted to quickly respond in similar way forgetting that you have the mind of Christ as Philippians 2:5 states.

Therefore, it becomes an act of maturity to allow for God’s word to still rule your mind and guide your steps and actions without retributing or paying evil back to the person.

What happens when you let God’s word judge:

1. PEACE WITH GOD
There’s a feeling of excitement you have knowing you are at peace with God your Maker and this could come by when you choose rather to let God’s word judge.

2. PEACE WITHIN YOURSELF
Philipians 4:7 “God’s peace shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus". Glory to God!. This state of life can’t be bought by money or addictive but you could allow it play out naturally. Friend! For the sake of peace within, let God’s word judge.

3. PROGRESS
This is a state of constant movement in a direction of pursuit. “When man’s way please God, even enemies would be at peace" meaning everything would begin to workout smoothly and beautifully. That would be your experience in Jesus name. Come on my friend, love progress over stagnation and allow God’s word judge you.

4. PLEASURE
Job 36:11 Pleasures come by obeying therefore "No obedience, No release of pleasures" which renews your youth as the eagle. It’s wisdom to accept pleasures over pain so allow Gods word have a free course today and see how beautiful your day would turn out.

5. PRESERVATION God’s word is capable of shielding you so allow it today to do it’s work as you but allow Gods word to judge your Moves, Motives and Memories.

PRAYER FOCUS:
Lord, Judge me by your word and grace me for your judgment in Jesus name.

JUDGE BY GOD’S WORD

TEXT: John 5: 30

It’s an act of cowardice to die before ones real death takes place although many have left life centre stage too quickly because of the judgment sentence passed on them or with them. In a world framed and formed by God’s word; there can be no better judge other than same word. Therefore ensure your judgments over issues are based on the provisions or content of the WORD because only then can it pass the QA (Quality Assurance) test and be upheld in High quarter.

From scriptures, Joshua & Caleb had a sense in contrast to that of the majority as this helps to buttress that MINORITY with God’s word is considered highly before God than majority without an iota of it. Little wonder in Ezekiel, He said “…I sought for a man…”.

Joshua and Caleb had their mind on the judgment by God’s word as that only can save a dying soul or situation. Are you at the point of judging by your senses, friends suggestions, bosses insinuations or circumstantial dictation, please no, consider God’s judgment as that only has a far reaching and long lasting effect as psalm 119:98.

To Judge by God’s word you must take away;

1. FEAR:
This is a major stumbling block to many in judging by God’s word. Its likened to a cancer capable of spreading so quickly and freely to eat up the strength and courage of judging by God’s word. Beat it and win the battle over it.

2. ALTERNATIVES:
This is far worse than the previous as it ends up eating up your chances of exhibiting your choices by presenting appealing choices and almost denying you the opportunity of picking the ONE important and capable choice to act on. Avoid having alternatives because it could cripple great dreams from coming through.

3. SENSE ORGANS VOICE:
Every thing created craves for significance hence you must avoid hearing and seeing from your sense organs because it’s judgment may not be in tune with that which God's word says.

4. PROCRASTINATION: Taking a late step could also mean not taking a step at all so watch against this and act fast on the Word of God.

Remember, sometimes stepping fast could mean stepping right.

PRAYER FOCUS:
I receive grace to judge only as your word instructs. Help me oh! Lord.

RULE BY WISDOM

TEXT: Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding.

It’s no doubt that its easier said than done because challenging moments are deciding moments and its quite uneasy to maintain form and beliefs but you can if only you choose to do so.

The result of wisdom rule would always outweigh a hundredth time approach of its opposite. Solomon was confronted with a life threatening urgent situation where both parties are grieved and furious and dramatically presenting themselves hence the severity of the issue and reduced chances of giving a suitable response to assuage and halt the situation. He had to display an act of wisdom which is not common then as his response left many in shock and deep thoughts.

Wisdom would achieve for you in a day what would have ordinarily taken you a week to fix. Spend time to know and act in wisdom because it in turn saves you from impending danger.

Wisdom is a spiritual concept and comes alive in a person having had and encounter with Jesus Christ who is Wisdom personified. 1st Corinthians 1:24. No action per time in wisdom misses target. God remains the source of wisdom for man and working with God would always deliver to man wisdom.

Gains of Wisdom;
1. STRENGTH: Proverbs 24:5 – Your strength comes alive when wisdom is present. You can’t act in wisdom and not be strengthened.

2. SAFETY: The essence of acquiring certain things is to keep in safety and enjoy safety so wisdom ensures you are safe because by wisdom you declare the truth which in itself and by itself makes people free.

3. RESTORED PEACE: By Solomon’s singular act, the puzzle for a peaceful kingdom was fixed as every one nodded in affirmation. Friend, Wisdom brings peace.

4. RESTORED GLORY: In a peaceful atmosphere is beauty showcased. Beauty speaks of the glory of the land or kingdom but wisdom makes it possible.

5. PROGRESS: Life is designed for progress naturally that’s why day progresses into nights and numbers progress from one (1) to two (2) etc. Even body stature responds to this phenomenon likewise socioeconomic and political terrains experience same.

Rule by wisdom and allow wisdom rule you.

PRAYER FOCUS: Lord! I submit to your will and allow for wisdom to rule my affairs.

HEAR GOD’S WORD

TEXT: Luke 6:17

Did you know that what you hear has a far reaching effect to who you become? You are and act like what you hear. From opening scriptures today it’s clear that the people of sea coast of Tyre and Sidon understood the benefit of hearing God’s word as the bible recorded multitude “which came to hear…".

When you hear God’s word you become God’s word happening to your immediate environment. God’s word in your human spirit would do for you what even an equipped library of mere facts may not accomplish little wonder emphasis are overtime laid on hearing God’s word as Pro. 4:20 instructs… “My son, attend to my words, incline thine ear to my sayings”. What you attend to would determine what would attend to you so attend to GOD’S WORD today.

People left friends, families, work, job, career and places regardless their socio-economic status just to Hear God’s word; Haba! They must be something about that word indeed that could substitute for the time and stress.

What you get when you attend to God’s word:

1. In His word is Life: Friend! deceit has filled the air in this generation as many don’t know what good living or life entails so they indulge in or go to certain places just to get the good life. Friend, the location and description for a good life is in God’s word alone so hear it today and be saved. Pro. 4:22.

2. In His word is Healing: Luke 6:17 says they came to hear and be healed. There’s healing in the word as it’s not just bodily but also for your soul and spirit. Aren’t you tired of the pain and trauma you’ve been through? Why wait again when the solution is here and now with you? Get up and get into the word for your complete healing. I see you renewed by Gods grace.

3. In His word is Light: Anyone could stumble in the absence of light as light it is that justifies your pace of achievement.

No world record sprinter can maintain his track or record time in a dark confined environment. So your boast should be that you have light and this is what you get when you hear God’s word either through tapes, pulpit ministration or personal search.

Hear this, your cleansing agent is the Word little wonder the wicked one seeks to deny your access to it. Defeat him today and hear God’s word.

I submit myself to hearing your word and become whom it says I am.

LOVE YOUR TODAY

Text: Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.

It’s grace that make great and it doth appear in a day called TODAY.

Friend, the equal gift given to man daily is 24hours in time and it can best be described as TODAY. No one has lived the tomorrow within the 24hrs of today along side their today so needless crying over spilled milk or expected tomorrow while allowing your gift of today to lay fallow and empty.

Every great step begins within the 24hrs time called today but the beauty of today can only be revealed when you love your own today.

There’s no sense in pushing till tomorrow what you could conveniently accomplish in today so ensure you love your today and start out now to fulfill your dreams and passion.

Failure to love your today will result;

1. PROCRASTINATION:
This is simply described as leaving for the later what you could conveniently do now. It is also seen as the thief of time. Personally, i call it the virus of your today’s yield. If you successfully arrest this issue, you are bound to see beautiful yield in your 24hrs called today.

2. DEPLETION OF ENERGY:
Energy is vital and comes in daily but for work as it would get depleted and unproductive if you fail to love your today. Remember your sleep time renews your energy but when not in use gets depleted an none beneficial.

3. INACTIVITY:
“There’s no grave so deep but shallow containing many today as the grave of inactivity” as I quote Walson Ekene. The “I can…. I will but later” syndrome is what leads many to this grave as many are swallowed in it already. It’s a grave so deep but shallow, so when one realizes, then can arise and start out again.

Remember, the lepers said “We would arise and go into the city and the friends to the dead man loving their today decided just to walkout of the inactivity and bore a space to let down their friend before Jesus and smiles and rejoicing took over the atmosphere.

Friends! Success has a link with loving your today i.e your 24hrs time while failure is to allow these factors set in.

Remember when you are re-energized, then you can restrategize to resurface.

PRAYER FOCUS: Lord! I make a choice to love your gift of today and pledge to utilize it well.

SPEAK THE TRUTH

TEXT: Proverbs 8:7 "For my mouth shall speak truth and wickedness shall be far from my lips".

Living in a time and age where truth is fast becoming irrelevant and an old time fable, God still expects us to speak the truth regardless whose Ox is goad in our daily walk.

One word of truth from you today can save a whole moment of destruction and devastation. You are to say the truth not only because you may be punished for saying otherwise but to validate the fact that truth is like a blown balloon put into water as it would naturally and almost always find its way out to the surface. Then you would realize how nature cares about truth because nature is truth.

What happens when you speak the truth;

Point 1 – You feel accomplished giving the true report and picture of facts around you. The feels of fulfillment is second to none as only truth process can achieve this.

Point 2 – You save the situation from further decay or devastation. It is your prime responsibility to save lives & time and this is what you cheaply achieve when you speak the truth.

Point 3 – You win trust from observers and those involved. Trust is not easy to come by but it daily rides on the lane of truth which only those prepared to speak truth can freely ride on that lane.

Point 4 - You create a better living or working environment. A peaceful atmosphere is synonymous with a truth filled atmosphere because people are relaxed knowing things are in their truth state.

Point 5 - You schedule yourself for reward. For every truth spoken there is a reward attached which not even man has control to its release but nature as it definitely gets to the person in time.

Friend, don't just seek the reward but seek to speak the truth because it naturally would release the reward.

PRAYER FOCUS: Lord, I receive grace to speak the truth.

Moment with Jesus is a vision born on the 6th of January 2014 and has been running. I had an insight to sow my first fruit to the Lord after which the Holy Spirit woke me up that night with an idea to record an audio word of encouragement and send to the people on my contact list. It went on for 3days and on the 3rd day, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the woman with the issue of blood in the bible whose life was transformed when she met Jesus Christ and the name MOMENT WITH JESUS was given to me on the 8th of
January 2014.

Basically, Moment with Jesus saddle with the responsibility of bringing Godly vibes and tunes to people  around the globe and also establishing daily moment with Jesus for people to get conscious of the fact that without Him (Jesus) they are nothing but with Him, they can succeed in life.

Lately, we had to repackage the audio voice notes recorded on CD's as before now it was usually sent to people via WhatsApp only

On the 1st of October 2016, we started distributing the CD's to individuals, churches and different organisations and God alone takes all praise.

The Boy That Left Church

Years have gone by. A man is who I am now. Adolescent-hood has left me. I have been building my musical skills, I now have my first degree, everything is happening so fast without even knocking. Passing-by I noticed the retarded off note sung by a set of people in the church I was hoping to be part of. Are they rehearsing or something? I distracted my friend. Oh, you don’t know? I asked; where is that guy that led them? You mean the boy that left the church? He responded. Is that his name? No, that’s what peeps call him.

I am not far from making a similar decision. Do not despise the days of little beginning; I know. But seeing that I am now on the cross road of independence? Choked by the needs of an adult and responsibilities scattered around my neck? Now I wonder why he left the church. Actually, the push to be better, to improve and to be numbered among the successful is a force that drives every young man of which I am not different. I have reasons, genuine reasons to leave. It is not that I left the church as everyone explains. Haven’t you heard – searching for greener pasture? I want to improve my status. I have the skill, I know the techniques, I have the voice for crying out loud. I am an asset, if not put to use properly will turn to an abandoned building. 

A good environment fosters success. I need where I would be appreciated for my much effort. I garnered reasons for my actions and was consumed only by my wants. This is not a pointer to anyone who left a church but to those who are consumed by self, their needs only, and often leave when the harvest is due. To be better is a virtue, to count only your number among other numbers is not godly. People leave the oven too soon only to realize they landed in the trash can.  They actually have the potential to satisfy one’s long night fast; all but BUT is the word attached to their stories. Well, I left the church and saw those with like passion and was covered by the awesome achievement made by these people I was far better than. I only saw the building and not the hidden foundation. It was hidden from me and those who want to fly without wings or engines. 

Years passed, my songs were still not on the mouth of babes, and my posters are not seen on the street. Have you not read that Talent is never enough? I grasped some things along my journey. Adding value to life attracts those things we staked our neck for. How did the story end? I left to cut the tree of life with a blunt knife. My church was a place where I was equipped to add value but I drained the tank of all its life-giving water and filled it with gravels of worries and quick-fame-quest. 

While you hustle as most would say – patience is not evil, wisdom and instructions are not for fools who don’t know what to do, your small business won't magically turn into a multi-billion dollar company, don’t run with zeal alone. To those asking: what if you are rejected, not appreciated and all of that. Well, it is painful at first, but I got to live still, I got to keep doing good still, I got to keep my integrity still, I have got to start appreciating myself, start getting fulfilled by finishing every task excellently, build my esteem, and refuse to live on their opinions and appraisals. I recommend knowing Jesus and growing in the grace that He has freely given.

The boy that left the church – will you leave wisdom behind for the wild market? I Answered; No dad. He continued; Solomon only operated on the instructions of His father and was never poor!

Wisdom is on the street for free as you are about your journey to the market, if you go without it, you will pay with your tears, sweat, time and money. It is disguised in advice as life itself is disguised in a book called the bible. Hope you’ll tell your sons this story.

You know you can achieve anything when you put your mind to it, so put your mind to making 2016 a wonderful year! No matter how the year has been you can still make it work.

1. Determine your motivating force.
What's your why, your passion, the vision beyond the vision, as I call it? You must have a reason to succeed; one that touches the deepest levels of your being. Before you begin every project explore the big picture. Why is it so important to you? What will you lose if you don't keep going? If you commit to something, just because you should, you will look back upon failure.

2. Tap into the energy of others.
If you feel tired, uninspired, even like giving up, I challenge you to examine the mindset of those around you. Do conversations with your closest companions renew your energy or drain it? Do you have people in your life who can engage in stimulating conversation about business or the other things that you're passionate about?

As human beings we give and receive energy and inspiration. Make sure you are receiving as much, or more, than you are handing out.

3. Get your thoughts organized.
When I'm working on a big project, nothing zaps my energy more than an over-stimulated, cluttered mind. This is an easy state for entrepreneurs to fall into because we are so full of ideas and strategies: your mind can go in a million directions and all of them seem viable at the time. Collect these thoughts by talking through your desired outcome, what you've done so far, and your options for moving forward. Your coach is a great resource for this, they are always there to inspire us. Sometimes all it takes is a willing ear, so a patient friend will do. It's surprising how things can fall back into place simply by revisiting your goals with a second party.

4. Move the process from your head to an organized list.
You know how it goes. You're determined to make some headway today and you've got two hours to make a dent in your project. But you sit down, uncertain about where to begin. So what do you do instead? Get lost in social media or another distraction, right?

Detailed lists outlining your next steps can eliminate this temptation. Break down your goals into bite-size, manageable chunks and always refer to your list before you get to work. Better yet, schedule time into your calendar for the very specific tasks that will take you to the next level in your project. The more specific you get, the less your mind will be inclined to go another direction.

5. Renew your creativity with a mind map.
If you keep your ideas and options in your head, it's difficult to tap into more expansive thinking. Your brain can efficiently manage only so much information before that information becomes nothing more than clutter. When you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or confused about how to get from point A to point B, create a mind map. When you do this, it not only organizes the mess in your brain; it also brings out your creativity and resourcefulness.

6. Have a plan B.
Find inspiration in these words from Thomas Edison: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

Be prepared to change course in light of the unexpected. This does not mean that you are giving up on a great idea. It means that you're destined to find one that's even better.

7. Don't worry, be happy.
The Dalai Lama was once asked what surprised him most about humanity. "Man," he answered. Why? "Because," said His Holiness, "he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never to die, and then dies having never really lived."
