Lagos building collapse: Death toll hits 6

The number of people that died from the five-storey building collapse in Lekki Phase One area of Lagos has increased to six.

The building, which was under construction, collapsed at Chisco Bus Stop in Lekki Phase One area of Lagos State in south western Nigeria.

Spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA), South-west zone, Ibrahim Farinloye, gave the new figure.

He had earlier said four people had died and six others rescued.
